Anders Holst Markussen, born 1977. I am a food journalist living in Denmark, specialised in the Nordic kitchen and international culinary trends.
I launched my career in 2005, as a freelance writer and holds a Master of Arts in Nordic Literature. My master thesis: Reviewing the Trends of Restaurant Reviews, examined and challenged the norms of culinary reviews in the daily newspapers and has greatly influenced the scene of Danish food critics.
I am proud at contributing to the new ambitious, international food magazine: FOOL by Lotta and Per-Anders Jörgensen. First issue in May 29 www.fool.se (I use professional translators).
2005-2011 I wrote for the leading Danish cultural newspaper Weekendavisen, a weekly paper and the Norwegian financial newspaper Dagens Næringsliv and Morgenbladet. Also contributions to Politiken and Berlingske Tidende.
